Istanbul & Izmir Marvel
Day 1: Istanbul
Arrival to Istanbul Ataturk Airport and meeting by Our Tour English speaking assistant . Transfer to your hotel by deluxe coach.
Day 2: Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Our guide will pick you up from hotel and continue for full-day sightseeing in Sultanahmet area.
Hippodrome , where originally used for chariot racing and public events by Romans from 200 BC.You will see spiral Serpentine Column, brought from Delphi in 479 BC. Blue Mosque , the only mosque with 6 minarets , is famous with its unique Iznik blue tiles. St Sophia Museum, a great architectural intelligence of Byzantine completeed in 537 AD. It was the largest cathedral of the world for 1,000 years. You will be amazed with its huge inside and unique mosaics and marbels.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant with typical Turkish meal.
We continue our tour by visiting Topkapi Palace , a great place with its opulent rooms, fine art and jewellery collections.
Last stop at Grand Bazaar, one of the largest covered bazaar built in 1464. It contains about 4,000 shops where you can find traditional souveniers, spices, etc.
Return back to your hotel and free evening at leisure
Day 3: Istanbul - Izmir
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer you to the airport to reach early flight to Izmir Airport. After one hr flight, we meet you at the airport and drive to Kusadasi . After a journey about 1,5 hour we start our tour to Ephesus.
We visit Ephesus ruins , including The Polio Fountain, The Temple of Hadrian that dedicated to the Emperor Hadrian in 138 AD. Then we visit Great Theatre , the largets ancient theatre with 25,000 seat capacity.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Later we visit Library of Celsius, one of the most beautiful structure of Ephesus, buit in 117 AD. Our last stop is the shire of Virgin Mary, where Mary may have spent her last days.
We return back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 4: Izmir - Kusadasi
Breakfast at the hotel and start sightseeing to enjoy natural spring water beauty with history after 2,5 hr drive ;
Pamukkale, meaning cotton castle in Turkish, is a natural site that contains hot springs and travertines, terraces or carbonate minerals left by the flowing water.
Hierapolis is the place where you will see the Necropolis , the biggest cemetery of Anatolia with 1,200 graves.
Lunch at local restaurant.
We will have free time to walk on warm water terraces , where people have bathled in for thousands of years. In the afternoon we drive back to your hotel.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Kusadasi
After breakfast at the hotel we transfer you to the airport for your flight back home via Istanbul
