Istanbul&Cappadocia Marvel
Day 1: Istanbul
Arrival to Istanbul Ataturk Airport and meeting by Our Tour English speaking assistant . Transfer to your hotel by deluxe coach.
Day 2: Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. Our guide will pick you up from hotel and continue for full-day sightseeing in Sultanahmet area.
Hippodrome , where originally used for chariot racing and public events by Romans from 200 BC.You will see spiral Serpentine Column, brought from Delphi in 479 BC. Blue Mosque , the only mosque with 6 minarets , is famous with its unique Iznik blue tiles. St Sophia Museum, a great architectural intelligence of Byzantine completeed in 537 AD. It was the largest cathedral of the world for 1,000 years. You will be amazed with its huge inside and unique mosaics and marbels.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant with typical Turkish meal.
We continue our tour by visiting Topkapi Palace , a great place with its opulent rooms, fine art and jewellery collections.
Last stop at Grand Bazaar, one of the largest covered bazaar built in 1464. It contains about 4,000 shops where you can find traditional souveniers, spices, etc.
Return back to your hotel and free evening at leisure
Day 3: Istanbul - Cappadocia
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer you to the airport to reach early flight to Cappadocia. After one hr flight, we meet you at Kayseri Airport or Nevsehir Airport and directly drive to Cappadocia for sightseeing tour .
We visit Kaymakli, the widest Underground City of the region. Then visit Pigeon Valley with many different rock formations and hundreds of pigeon houses.
Lunch at local restaurant to taste local delicious meal.
We visit Uchisar Castle, the highest point of Cappadocia with many rock cut churches. You get ready to take amazing view of the region from Esentepe .
Our last stop is Rose Valley, with beautiful rock formations with some great hidden rock-carved churches.
Return back to your hotel. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Cappadocia
Breakfast at the hotel and start sightseeing to explore Cappadocia deeply.
Visit Goreme, a kind of open air museum that contains the finest rock-out churches and beautiful frescos. Zelve Valley where you can see secular and religious chambers and honeycombed with dwellings. Devrent Valley is like a fairy zoo with lovely fairy chimneys. Then visit Cavusin village to see Chuch of St John the Baptist where you can have a nice panoromic view.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Then we drive to Avanos, the center of terra-cotta work since 3000 BC. You are invited to experience traditional pottery workshop.
Our last stop at Ortahisar Village, where is famous with stone houses, narrow streets and beautiful churches as well as the castle-like rock formations.
Drive back to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Cappadocia
After breakfast at the hotel we transfer you to the airport for your flight back home via Istanbul…
