Day 1: Lhasa
Lhasa airport picking up, have a good rest in the afternoon. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 2: Lhasa
Visit Potola Palace, Johkang temple, and Barkor Market. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 4: Lhasa - surphu Monastery
Drive about 70km west of Lhasa to Tsurphu Monastery, which is the seat of the Karmapa branch of the Kagyupa order of Tibetan Buddhism. Tsurphu Monastery is set in a valley. If you are acclimatised the altitude, you can do the Tsurphu Kora. It winds up some 150m,providing splendid views of Tsurphu below. Afternoon drive to Yangbachen to have hot-spring. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 5: surphu Monastery
Drive to Visit Ganden Monastery which is about 120Km away from Lhasa, afternoon drive to Tidrum Nunnery, it has a great location in a narrow gorge at the confluence of two streams. You can have the famous medicinal hot-springs there. Overnight stay at Government guesthouse of Nunnery Guesthouse( Dorm bed).
Day 6: angbachen hot
Early drive to Drigung Til which sprouts from a high, steep ridge overlooking the Drigung Valley. Drigung Til is the head monastery of the Drigungpa school of the Kagyupa order, right now there are about 270 monks living in. Up to the hill of Drigung Til, there is one the holiest sky-burial site in Lhasa region, if you want to see the sky-burial, you need to ask for the permission from the the family of the deceased and the senior lama who conducts the ceremony. If they dont want you to attend, then just let it go. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 7: pring
Morning Airport dropping off, end the trip.
