Pick up at your hotel in Galle and proceed to Yala. Stop off at Dondra – Sri Lanka’s southern tip and visit the oldest stone building in Sri Lanka.
Dondra was formerly home to a great temple dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. In 1588 the Portuguese destroyed all temples except for this one. Learn more about its colourful history when you visit.
Evening: It’s Safari time! Leopard, elephant, crocodiles, bears, deer, amazing birds….they are all here in Yala National Park
The hunt for the elusive leopard continue early in the morning as you embark on morning safari of Yala National Park. Afte a few hours at the National Park, have a late breakfast in Yala and then return to Galle.
