Day 1: Samburu
Met on arrival of your flight in Nairobi by a Windtrek Safaris representative and after a short safari briefing you depart for Samburu. Drive through the rich and beautiful central Kenya highlands passing through the equator line in the town of Nanyuki and continue the drive north to the warm and dry semi-arid region of the Samburu. The Samburu National Reserve has all the big five and is well known for its long-necked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe and the rare Grevys zebra. The Ewaso Nyiro River, flowing through the game reserve has a large population of crocodiles that bask on the sandy banks in the hot midday sun. Day 2: Samburu
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the beauty and mystique of the semi arid area. Mid morning is spent enjoying the solar heated swimming pool, take an optional bird walk or make a visit to a nearby Samburu village for a cultural experience. All meals and overnight at SAMBURU SENTRIM CAMP (B/ L/ D).
Day 3: Nairobi
