Day 1: Milan - Rome
Meet your guide at your Milan hotel or Milano Centrale train station and then leave the city by air-conditioned coach. With several stops throughout the day to stretch your legs and buy meals, your tour heads south in the direction of Italys Lazio region. Arrive in Rome by late afternoon, check into your hotel and then relax at leisure. Perhaps take a leisurely walk to Villa Borghese, Romes tranquil park, or explore the citys vibrant neighborhoods like Trastevere or Testaccio.
Day 2: Rome
After breakfast, head out on a 3-hour walking tour with your guide to discover Rome. Starting from Largo di Torre Argentina - a quiet piazza boasting Roman temple ruins - your route continues to Campo de Fiori, Romes louder-than-life central square. Stroll to Piazza Navona with its Baroque fountains and pavement-side cafés, and then see unmistakable monuments like the Pantheon. Day 3: Rome

Visit the Basilica of St Francis to see incredible early Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue, and then enjoy free time for lunch (own expense).
Continue to Siena, one of Tuscanys most popular towns, to spend your afternoon at leisure. Day 4: Rome - lorence
After breakfast, meet your guide for a morning walking tour around the city. Concentrating on Florences countless Renaissance-era sites, your tour takes in city highlights like Florence Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore), Giottos Bell Tower and Santa Croce - a 13th-century Franciscan church thats home to Cimabues famous Crucifix painting.

Day 5: lorence

Day 7: Florence - Venice
After breakfast, leave Venice and travel west by coach to Verona.
