Day 1: Delhi
Arrive and transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.
Morning proceed by road to Rishikesh. Arrive at the rafting capital of India, Shivpuri (Rishikesh)and stay at Ganga Nature Camp.After Welcome drink free time to explore the area. Evening tea. One can relax in the camp or take walk in to the jungle. Barbecue, dinner and overnight at Camp. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3: Rishikesh
Morning Tea. Either calm your spirits with a few Yoga lessons or get adventurous by rock climbing, river crossing, rapelling etc via the famous Burma Bridge . After breakfast drive to Shivpuri to start rafting from Shivpuri to Rishkesh. Today you hit some of the most excitng rapids on the Ganga i.e. Return to Sender, Roller Coaster, Golf Course & Club house. Lunch at Ganga Nature Camp. After lunch you hit Initiation, Double trouble, Hilton & Terminator. One can try body surfing and cliff jump on this section. Later, just float past temples and ashrams and Ghats enjoying the river bank life along the Ganga.Arrive Rishikesh and drive back to the Camp. After dark campfire, Barbecue Dinner and overnight at Camp.
Day 4: Rishikesh
Morning tea. After breakfast drive to Kaudiyala. Today the route is down from Koudiyala to Shivpuri , hitting some of the most difficult rapids like the Daniel dip, The wall, Black money, Cross fire, Three Blind mice and good morning rapids. Arrive Shivpuri and drive to camp. After lunch drive back to Delhi.Arrive and overnight stay at Hotel.
Morning leave by air for Dibrugarh.Arrive Dibrugarh and drive and then ferry by country made boat to Pasighat (80km, 08hrs). Overnight at Pasighat.
Day 6: Delhi
Morning drive to Jengging (150kms, 07hrs). Overnight at Jengging.
Sort out gear, ready for rafts in the afternoon - a comprehensive safety briefing instruction sessions and rescuer procedures. Overnight at Tuting.
Day 9: Pasighat
Class IV Ninguing rapid, Class III rapid at Palsi to reach PangoOvernight Camp at Pango.
Day 10: Pasighat - Jengging
Raft down the Pango rapid and continue to Rikor village to set up Camp above the village. Visit the village. Overnight at Camp.
Day 11: Jengging
Big white water day. Class IV at Rikor followed by the Zebra Rock rapid, following a bend few kilometers downstreaman. Past several rapids followed by a 3 kilometer float till Bomdo. Overnight at Camp.
Day 12: Jengging
A short day on the river. Begin with the huge, Breakfast Rapids, followed by milder ones all the way till the suspension bridge at Yinkeong. Overnight at Camp.
Day 13: Tuting
Begin this day with a long technical rapid and lots of smaller rapids. By noon encounter the biggest rapid on the trip. The Karbo Killer at Karko. A good part of the day is spent in the environs of this rapid before we carry on to beach the rafts at Geku. Overnight at Camp.
Day 14: Tuting
After Geku, a long float till a big rapid above the 65 Bridge. An easy day with long float sections. Pass several Adi Tribal settlements on the way. First major confluence of the Siang river with the Siyom river after the suspension bridge at Boling. Panging by late afternoon. Overnight at Camp.
Day 15: Raft Tuting
A short day on the river with quick run to a big rapid at Panging village. Camp above the rapid. Relaxed day. Visit the villages.Overnight at Camp.
Day 16: Pango
Final run to the plains at Pasighat by negotiating the last biggie on the trip at Poning. The Siang gathers a lot more volume approaching Pasight where we beach for the last time on this trip. Transfer to rest house at Pasigaht. Rest at househotel.
Day 17: Pango
Today baot ride to Dibrugarh (80kms 05hrs). Overnight atHotel.
Day 18: Rikor
Morning transfer to airport to leave by air for Kolkata.Arrive and transfer to Hotel. Kolkata, capital of West Bengal is a nerve centre of intellectual and human values where many modern movements began in literature, art, cinema, theatre, science, politics and industry. Afternoon half day city tour of Kolkata. visiting <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'VTM','CCU','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Victoria Memorial</a> built of White Marble. It was inaugurated Prince of Wales in 1924 and has a statue of Queen Victoriawith other innumerous exhibits. Visit the Indian Museum and drive past <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'DSQ','CCU','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Dalhousie Square</a>, <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'STP','CCU','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">St. Paul's Cathedral</a>, National Library, Shaheed Minar, Eden Garden, Fort William and drive past city centre. Evening transfer to international airport to fly back home onward destination
