Day 1: Chennai

Reach Chennai, where our representative will meet you and transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. The rest of the day is kept for rest and relaxation. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 2: Chennai - Mamallapuram

The day two is scheduled for a whole day trip in the city. See the various attractions of the city including Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 3: Mamallapuram - Kanchipuram

The day starts with an early breakfast after which,you will be moved to Pondicherry. It is about 170 km from Chennai to Pondicherry.Reach Pondicherry in the afternoon and after lunch go for a half day sight seeing tour of the city. After dinner over night stay at hotel.

Day 4: Kanchipuram - Chennai

Start early from Pondicherry to Swami Mailer, which is an ethnic village resort. The drive is about 166 Km. En-route visit Chidambram and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. Over night stay at Pondicherry hotel.

Day 5: Chennai

On day five, take a trip from Pondicherry to Trichy, enroute Tanjore. Start early drive to Trichy, which is 91 km from Swami Mailer, and visit Tanjore Temple en route. Arrive Trichy in the afternoon and check in at the pre booked hotel. After some rest, visit <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'ASH','TRZ','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Srirangam</a> and Rock Fort. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 6: Chennai - Puducherry

Today, you will drive from Trichy to Madurai, which is located at a distance of about 142 km from Trichy. Reach by afternoon, check in at a hotel and after some rest go for a sight seeing tour of Madurai. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 7: Puducherry

The seventh day is kept for a whole day of sight seeing in Madurai. You can choose to visit an excursion either to Kodaikanal or Rameshwaram. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 8: Puducherry

Start in the morning from Madurai to Kanya Kumari (Cape Comorin), the meeting point of three oceans and the last end of India. The distance is about 285 km. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 9: Puducherry - Tiruchirappalli

The day is kept at leisure to see the various sights and scenes at Kovalam, including the beautiful beaches. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 10: Tiruchirappalli

On the tenth day of your tour, start for Periyar early in the morning. The distance is about 276 km. Reach Periyar in the afternoon and check into a hotel. After some rest, go for a boat cruise on lake Periyar to view wildlife. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 11: Tiruchirappalli - Madurai

Drive to Kottayam backwaters from Periyar, which is about 115 km drive from Periyar and check into a Kettuvalom (Houseboat). Sail through the day and even spend the night on boat.

Day 12: Madurai

Sail to Alleppey in the houseboat, reach in the afternoon and check out of the houseboat. After a wholesome meal proceed to Cochin, a 56 km drive from Alleppey. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 13: Madurai - Rameshwaram or Kodaikanai

Go for a sight seeing tour in the morning to see the beautiful attractions of Cochin. The evening is kept free to see a wonderful Kathakali Dance performance in a theatre.

Day 14: Rameshwaram or Kodaikanai - Madurai

Drive to Ooty, which is at a distance of about 280 km from Cochin. Reach and check in a hotel and the remaining day is at leisure. Over night stay at hotel.

Day 15: Madurai

Take a full day sight seeing tour of Ooty and also visit Coonoor. Overnight stay at Ooty.

Day 16: Madurai - Kanya Kumari

Early morning transfer nearer airport for onwrd destination.
