Morning, one hour boat ride across Mumbai Harbor brings you to the lush green Elephanta Island. Drive upto the Malabar Hill to the lovely Hanging Gardens and the Kamla Nehru Park from where you will get a wonderful view of Mumbai and the Arabian Sea, spread out before you. Also visit Mani Bhavan, a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi; and the bustling Crawford Market. Day 4: Gondal

Only the Gods live on this holy hilltop city for, after sundown, none may stay here, not even the priests who wend their way down the hill and leave the resplendent pinnacle to the gods. Day 6: Bhavnagar

Built in 1026 A.D the temple is dedicated to the Sun God, Surya and stands high on a plinth overlooking a deep stone tank. A guided walk to see the havelis along the narrow streets is rather interesting; wherein marvelous carvings and glass paintings could be seen. The building, often styled "a dream in marble" is said to have taken at least 22 years (1631-1653) to build.Agra Fort - lies on the bend of the River Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. It was built by Akbar as his citadel over the years 1565-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.Itmad Ud Daula Tomb - His daughter, the empress Nur Jahan, commissioned the tomb in memory of her father. Lik other Mughal mausoleums, the tomb stands in the center of a garden and is the first Mughal building constructed entirely of marble. It is lavishly decorated with pietra dura inlay work. Day 12: Mount Abu

Early morning, drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the sacred river Ganges. Continue by boat to see burning and bathing Ghats.Thereafter visit the buried Buddhist city of Sarnath, just outside Varanasi - it'\s as holy to the Buddhists as Varanasi is to the Hindus. Here you will witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculpture (Sarnath Museum Closed on Fridays).Afternoon transfer from hotel to the airport for Varanasi/Delhi flight (1440/1550 hrs.).Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer from airport to hotel.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15: Udaipur
