Arrive Jorhat airport from Kolkata and drive to Dimapur (160 kms / 4 hrs drive). Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Dimapur
Drive to Kohima (80 kms / 3 hrs drive). Afternoon visit war memorial. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Full day excursion to to Dzulakie (40 kms) and Khonoma village (20 kms). Dzulakie is popular tourist destination and Khonoma village is famous for its own traditions of valour and courage. Overnight in Kohima.
Day 4: Kohima
Drive to Wokha (80 kms / 4 hrs drive). There are villages on hilltops, which at once attract attention. There are monolithis (Longzu) erected by the rich ancestors to ehibit their status. Overnight stay in Tourist Lodge.
Day 5: Kohima
Drive to Mokokchong, home of Ao Naga and can be of great interest to people who have desire to have an insight into Ao folklore custom and tradition. Overnight stay in Mokokchong.
Day 6: Wokha
Full day explore tribal village. Overnight stay in Mokokchong.
Day 7: Wokha
Drive to Tuensang (115 kms / 6 hrs), the homeland of Changs, Yimchungers, Khiamungans, Sangtams, Semas and Phoms Nagas. Overnight stay in Tuensang.
Day 8: Mokokchung
Drive to Mon (150 kms / Approx 8 hrs drive), the headquarters of the Konyak tribe. Konyaks are adept artisan and skilled craftsman, here one can find excellent woodcarving, daos (machete) etc. Overnight stay in Mon.
Day 9: Mokokchung
Drive to Jorhat. Overnight stay in Chung Bungalow or Hotel
Day 10: Mokokchung - Tuensang
Drive and ferry across (charter) river Brahmaputra (2½ hrs on ferry) to visit Majuli island. Afternoon return to Jorhat Ghat and the drive to Kaziranga (110 kms / 2½ hrs drive). Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 11: Tuensang
Early morning elephant safari followed by Jeep Safari. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 12: Mon
After breakfast drive to Guwahati airport (250 kms / 5½ hrs drive) to connect flight to Kolkata or New Delhi.
