Mumbai is known as the Indian city of dreams, a city that never sleeps! This small day tour gives you a glimpse of the city, which has history and which runs the economy of the country.
Day 1: Mumbai
Morning, you will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the famous <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'GWI','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Gateway of India</a>, in front of the equally famous Taj Mahal Hotel. After admiring the two marvellous architectures of Mumbai, proceed to the dock, where you will take the ferry boat to the UNESCO world Heritage site of the Gharapuri Caves, commonly known as the <a class="PIInfosoft-placeName" onclick="openAttractionDescriptionPopup('en', 'AFZ','BOM','IND','India');" data-target="#PopUp5" href="javascript:void(0)" data-toggle="modal">Elephanta caves</a>. Located on an island near Mumbai, these caves have some beautiful murals and carvings inside, mostly dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Back to the land, and then take a tour of the city's fantastic Gothic architecture. Drive pass the famous Victoria terminus building, the Crawford Market, The Asiatic Library, the Hutatma Chowk and the Rajabai Tower. Drive pass the Marine Drive and see the unique Dhobhi Ghat, a place where washer men was numerous clothes and hang them to dry, a unique sight. Proceed down south, where the guests can see a mosque, the Haji Ali mosque which goes inside the sea.
End the journey in time to visit the sun set on the Juhu Beach. Here you can enjoy the sea and some different Indian style snacks, along with myriad of colours and people.
The tour ends here, with a choice of drop at the airport / railway station or the Hotel of stay.
