Day 1: Hamburg
Welcome to Germany - The land of Festivals and Fairy-tales.
Upon arrival in Hamburg, you will be welcomed by the Cox & Kings representative and transferred to your hotel (Private). Founded by Charlemagne in AD810, Hamburg is an historic city, still maintaining a beautiful centre of neo-Gothic red brick buildings, half-timbered houses and medieval relics. It is also a trendy city, home to many young professionals in banks and insurance companies. On the Hamburg skyline, skyscrapers and facades of steel and glass counterbalance the spires of old churches.
Day 2: Hamburg
Why dont you visit Miniatur Wunderland on your own? It is one of the biggest miniature train exhibition in the world.

After breakfast, discover the city by a harbour cruise which will lead you to the historical warehouse complex (Speicherstadt) and also to the modern container harbour. Cruise along Hamburgs impressive container ship terminals and the picturesque warehouse district in the heart of town to Hamburgs Harbour City, one of Europes biggest urban development projects with the new concert hall, Elbphilharmonie, built on the roof of a storehouse. Sit back and relax while you enjoy these architectural highlights of Hamburg.

Day 3: Hamburg - Berlin
This morning you will transfer on your own from hotel to Hamburg train station. Travel by train to Berlin. Upon arrival in Berlin you will transfer on your own to the hotel and check in.
Berlin has wonderful sights although it is not as centralized or small as other European cities. It is also known as one of the greenest cities in Europe: over 60% of its surface area is either a park or a river, it is beautiful.
The day is at leisure.
Day 4: Berlin
Later this evening why not explore Berlins legendary night life !!! There is always something new to discover in the several clubs with their new music and styles. In the citys clubs and bars the party never stops.

Today enjoy open bus tour of Berlin. Delight yourself with stories of the citys amazing history, from the Hohenzollern dynasty to the forming of the German nation in 1871, through WWI and the abdication of the Kaiser, to the Weimar Republic, the rise of the Nazis, WWII, the divided city during the cold war and now once again the capital of a reunified Germany. Visit Brandenburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz, Charlottenburg Palace, Reichstag Parliament building, Alexanderplatz.
Day 5: Berlin
The day is at leisure for you to choose one of the Optional tours to experience this city.
Why not take an optional tour to visit Potsdam (Castle Sanssouci). Tour the Sansouci Palace with a stroll through the magnificent gardens, and a city tour of Potsdam during which you discover the heart of the baroque city with its Dutch Quarter and Russian Colony Alexandrovka.
Day 6: Berlin
Today you will transfer on your own to Berlin train station and board your train to Dresden. Upon arrival in Dresden you will transfer on your own to the hotel.
Dresden, a city founded in 1206 and recognized as a World Heritage Site, has a long history as the capital and royal residence for the Kings of Saxony, who for centuries furnished the city with extraordinary cultural and artistic splendour. On arrival in Dresdin transfer on your own to the hotel.

Later this afternoon, enjoy Dresden City Tour. See the state capital of Saxony by water, funicular railway and bus. The highly efficient public transit network also provides a good foundation for discovering the city on your own.
Day 7: Berlin - Dresden
The day is at leisure to experience this city on your own.
Why not explore the city on your own and visit the Semper Opera, the Old Master Picture Gallery or make an excursion to the well known porcelain manufactory in Meissen.
Day 8: Dresden
Today you will be transferred to Berlin airport by train for your flight back home (Private). We trust that you enjoyed your Flexihol Vacation.
