Old Dacca & New Dhaka
Dhaka-Sonargaon-Moinamoti-Dhaka
Day 1: Dhaka
Arrival Dhaka Airport & immediately transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Dhaka
In the morning we will pick up you from your hotel lobby to visit the old part of the city and you will visit the Star mosque, Sadarghat riverfront, Armenian Church, Hindu street, Ahsan Manzil museum-the palace of Dhaka Kings, Dhaka university area -Sahid Minar, the birth place of International mother language day, Curzon Hall, Dhakeshwari Hindu temple, Lalbagh fort and the famous National Parliament building. In the afternoon visit Savar national memorial of the martyers of war of Independence. If time permit visit to Dhamrai, see the craftsmanship of the brass artisans and return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day 3: Sonargaon
Excursion to Sonargaon, the old capital, visit the ruins of Panam township, Folk art museum and then drive to Mainamati to see the ruins of Buddhist monastery, other ruins and site museum dating back from 6th-12th century. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Dhaka.
Day 4: Moinamoti
After breakfast at hotel transfer to river front & board on a reserved motor boat. Cruise the river and take a taste of the land of the rivers, visit local village on the bank of the river. Lunch on board & visit Aarong, the famous shop for Bangladeshi handicrafts.
Day 5: Dhaka
After breakfast at hotel free till transfer to airport.
