Day Details

Day 1: Vienna

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel (on your own). Later take a ride on Vienna Heurigen Express.

The Heurigen Express is a great way to admire some of the most typical parts of Vienna and rest on a comfortable seat. You will pass by picturesque wine-growing villages, the romantic Vienna Woods, elegant villas owned by celebrities as well wine-growers old houses. Take a look at Viennas impressive panorama, you will also be able to see two houses where Ludwig van Beethoven used to live, while listening to the recorded commentary, via loud speakers, offered in several languages. Afterwards you may enjoy a typical Viennese Heurigen: this is the name for both the new wine and the taverns where this wine is served (not included in the price).

Day 2: Vienna - Schonbrunn

Schonbrunn Palace is one of the most important cultural monuments in Austria. You will be passing through 40 magnificent rooms. This tour begins in the west wing of the Palace and takes you through the apartments of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth, through the central wing with the ceremonial and state rooms and into the east wing. Here you will see the splendid audience chamber of Maria Theresa and Emperor Franz Stephan, as well as many other fascinating interiors. Schonbrunn Palace was not only an Imperial residence and the setting for countless festivities, but also a place where famous artists and craftsmen from many different epochs created interiors of great beauty. All the rooms of the Palace have their own stories to tell, these are on the margins of great historical events which are indicative of the lifestyle, atmosphere and world view of the Imperial Era.

Day 3: Schonbrunn - Vienna

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Vienna

Depart from Vienna to Salzburg by train (duration: 2.5 hrs). Arrive Vienna, rest of the day is free to explore this enchanting City by your own. Overnight at the hotel Renaissance or similar in Salzburg.

Day 5: Vienna - Linz

Stroll through Mozarts Salzburg and take a closer look at the main sights of this picturesque city. We will show you the Mozarteum School of Music, the Marionette Theatre, the County Theatre, the house where Mozart lived, Trinity Church, the County Legal Courts, Nonnberg Abbey, Hellbrunn Palace where we will have a short stop, the Villa of Frohnburg, the Neutor tunnel, the Festival Houses, the Horsepond, Getreidegasse, the Church of St. Blasius and Mozart Square. You will also receive a ticket for a funicular up to Hohensalzburg Fortress, which dates back to the 11th century and is the largest in Europe, from where you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking panoram ic view of the city.

Day 6: Linz

After breakfast checkout of the hotel, take a train to Vienna for your flight to London.
