Description: Tarika's Jungal Retreat, is located in the sylvan surroundings of Blossom - Chail amidst serene beauty and splendours of Himachal Pradesh. Nested on the hill top at 7054 ft surrounded by thick forests "Tarika's Jungal Retreat" is one of its kind luxury holiday resort. Built over sprawlling several acres of land "Tarika's Jungal Retreat" comprises 65 rooms / cottages which are unique in style and glamour accompanied by excellent comfort. All rooms are elegant and contemporary in design with spectacular views. The resort has been approved as a Five Star by Ministry of Tourism. The resort has an all weather well-laid tarred road coming up to its gate. Inside the complex, sprawling over so many acres of mountain top land, a cemented 1.2 kms long driveway encircles the property making driving inside the property not only convenient but a pleasure. Around six hundred meters from the entrance and by the side of the driveway, the Geodesic half cut dome shaped glass walled Reception is located looking like a multifaceted diamond. The driveway also doubles up as an ideal tracking path for morning and evening walks along with other pathways running all over the contour of the property. Habitual walkers shall derive immense pleasure in indulging themselves with frequent pauses to admire the breath taking view and the herbal plantation. Superior Rooms: These are designated as superior rooms in the Hotel Block and are 1 floor below the ground floor level. These are lesser in price in comparison to the premium rooms. However regarding the size and facilities, it includes everything that a premium room does. Superior Cottages: These are the superior cottages consisting of 1 Bedroom and a balcony. It has also got an open space in front of the cottage. Two cottages (adjacent to each other) are close to the entrance gate of the Resort approx 500 meters from the reception and 800 meters from the restaurant. The other four cottages (again adjacent to each other) are approx. 150mts from reception & around 450mts from the restaurant by road (but only 200mts from restaurant from upper path). Premium Rooms: These rooms are just in front of the reception on ground & 1 st Floor of the Hotel Block consisting of 1 Bedroom having twin beds and sitting area except Room No. 241 & 341, which has Double bed. Lords Nest: These cottages have been named Lords Nest and are spread in a wide area in back of the reception. Among them there are 3 blocks of 4 cottages each and one of 2 cottages and are interconnected with a common balcony. One cottage i.e. No. 214 is an individual cottage situated near the restaurant and has a bathtub in the bathroom. All these cottages have got a single room with a sitting area and a double bed on the same level. Snow Crust: We have two types of Snowcrust cottages and these vary in interior, design and ambience from each other. The allotment for the same is done by Front Desk at check in as per availability. Suite: These are the suit rooms in the hotel block 1 in each floor. Room No. 246 & 146 consist of 1Living room along with 1 Bedroom. Room No.346 consist of a bedroom but has got a large open sitting space (15x12½ ft. approx) adjacent to the bedroom. Woodstock: These 4 cottages are basically Log Huts (completely wooden) known as "Woodstock" consisting of a bedroom and a balcony each. The 4 cottages are in 2 blocks having 2 interconnected cottages each. It has got a cubical shower space in the bathroom. These are generally No Smoking cottages. These cottages are situated on the back of the reception towards the right hand side. These have a beautiful view from the room as well as balcony. Premium Cottage: These are all premium cottages. All our premium cottages have got a specialty of its own. Among the above, there are 2 glass cottages (102, 103) in a dome shaped having a living room and a bedroom on split level. At night one can see the beautiful sky from the bedroom. The concept of these cottages is totally different and unique by itself. There are 2 cottages (105 &106), which have got in total 3 rooms i.e. a Living Room, a bedroom and a Dining room. These cottages are quite spacious and can easily accommodate a family. The specialty of these two cottages is that the adjacent cottage to these is snow crust (205& 206 respectively), which are interconnected to these cottages and if combined can accommodate 2 families. There is LCD TV fixed in these cottages. There is one premium cottage (No. 104) with a Jacuzzi consisting of a bedroom and a living room. This cottage is very near to the restaurant and is on the 1 st Floor. On the ground floor is another premium cottage i.e. No. 204 which consists of 1 living room and a bedroom. It has also got an individual balcony. Honeymoon Cottage: This has been designated as Honeymoon cottage and has been named as "Jungle Hide Out". It is a glass cottage in dome shaped and faces the valley. It consists of a single bedroom with a sitting area on the upper floor. One can have a clear view of the valley from here. The specialty of this cottage is its bathroom on the lower floor. There is a wooden staircase going down to the bathroom. The bathroom consists of Steam, Sauna & Jacuzzi. This cottage is separated from all the cottages of the resort and is very close to the restaurant. The name itself indicates that this cottage is specially meant for Honeymoon couples. The Paradise: This is the most luxurious cottage in the resort named as "The Paradise". It is made of wood and consists of a Living Room & a Bedroom. The large bathroom of this cottage consists of 2 geysers and a Jacuzzi meant for 2 persons. This cottage consists of 2 LCD TV's (1 each in bedroom and living room). There is also large open space in front of this cottage where one can sit and relax and enjoy the view. Presidential Suite: This has been designated as Honeymoon cottage and has been named as "Jungle Hide Out". It is a glass cottage in dome shaped and faces the valley. It consists of a single bedroom with a sitting area on the upper floor. One can have a clear view of the valley from here. The specialty of this cottage is its bathroom on the lower floor. There is a wooden staircase going down to the bathroom. The bathroom consists of Steam, Sauna & Jacuzzi. Temperature Control: All cottages are equipped with individual heat convectors.
