Some featured exhibits include vultures, African lions, White Handed Gibbons, a herpetarium, Sumatran Tigers, giraffes and the co-inhabitants of their natural native region, elephants, lemurs, Texas barnyard animals, and much more.
The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The museum, housed in the original 1906 bottling plant, describes the history of the Dr Pepper soft drink which was developed in Waco.
