    Indiana is a borough in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States, part of the Pittsburgh DMA.It is the county seat of Indiana County.The borough and the region as a whole promotes itself as the "Christmas Tree Capital of the World" because the national Christmas Tree Grower''s Association was founded there.The largest employer in the borough today is the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the largest of 14 state universities in Pennsylvania.

Blue Spruce Park is comprised of two lodges, four pavilions, two playgrounds, a volleyball court, horseshoe court, areas for games and sports, a 12- acre lake stocked with trout, six miles of hiking and cross-country skiing trails, and the Indiana County Master Gardener''s Trial Garden.
The deepest gorge east of the Mississippi River, Conemaugh Gap is a seven-mile, 1,350 foot gorge that is cut by the Conemaugh River through the Laurel Ridge Mountain.
Completed in 1953 and standing 975 feet high, the Conemaugh Dam features an interpretive trail, information center, a playground, and pavilions.
This well-known landmark was used as a boundary marker in two treaties between the Iroquois Indians and the Pennsylvania colonial government.
