    Calistoga is a city in Napa County, California, United States.Thus there are numerous wineries within a short drive. Calistoga itself, however, is noted for its hot springs spas, a local specialty being immersion in hot volcanic ash known as a mud bath. Nearby attractions are include a geothermal artificial geyser known as the Old Faithful of California.

Welcome to the Frank Family Vineyards winery, located on Larkmead Lane south of Calistoga, where wine tastes the sweetest! First constructed in 1884, this sandstone building still stands strong and is considered as one of the finest structures in the county. The wine here is produced in small quantities and sold at the winery at a selected number of stores and restaurants.
This geyser throws a tower of thousands of gallons of 350 degree hot water approximately 60 feet into the air and stays there for three to four minutes, then recedes back down. You can see this magnificent performance every day, about every 30 minutes.
Sweeping views of the Pacific and the Sierra Nevada range are highlights of this state park, which features rough terrain, evergreen forests and a five-mile hiking trail to the top of Mount St. Helena.
This guided half mile round trip walking tour takes you back in time to over three million years ago as you see a 100 foot high Ash Fall that contains deposits of volcanic material, rare native flowers, and a trail of giant majestic petrified redwood trees. This place also offers a panoramic view of Mt. St. Helena.
