Historic Railroad Shops

Savannah`s Historic Railroad is America`s oldest standing railroad repair and manufacturing facility. The construction of the facility began back in 1845 and to this day 13 of the original structures are still intact. Visitors will find rail-related exhibits at the Roundhouse Railroad Museum, with sights such as locomotives, steam engines and belt-driven machinery.
