    Jomsom, (2,713m) is important for its strategic position along the popular Around Annapurna (Circuit) Trek route.Jomsom, also known as Dzongsam or New Fort, is a town located at an altitude of 2800m in Mustang, Nepal. As the district headquarters, it is primarily an administrative and commercial center with government officials and merchants rubbing shoulders with the local residents of the region, known as Thakalis.Two main trails follow river valleys in relatively easy ascents: up the Kali Gandaki to Jomsom and Muktinath.The trail`s highest point is Muktinath at 3800 m, a holy site of temples sacred to both Buddhists and Hindus for centuries.From Jomsom you can enjoy the views of the Nilgiri peaks as well as Dhaulagiri, the sixth highest mountain in the world.

    Jomsom can be reached by one of the three ways By plane: Jomson has daily flight connections with Pokhara although cloud cover at Pokhara or Jomson and high winds particuarly at Jomson might cause delays or cancelations. By jeep : Jomsom now has a tenuous road connection with Beni and onwards to Pokhara. The road is prone to landslides and flooding particularly during the monsoon. On foot : With the new road from Beni Jomson Has now become the terminus of the Annapurna circuit and a large number of trekkers come from Manang via the Thorung-La

Dhaulagiriis the seventh highest mountain in the world. It forms the eastern anchor of the Dhaulagiri Himal, a subrange of the Himalaya in the Dhawalagiri Zone of north central Nepal. Dhaulagiri means "White Mountain".
Jomsom Muktinath TrekkingThis area is famous as a holy pilgrimage place for Hindus and Buddhist devotees. You will have the opportunity to visit the unique villages of the area with out standing views of the world`s highest mountain such as Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Nilgiri.This trekking is also famous because you trek through the valley to the heights in the deepest gorge in the world.
