Ramgarh, a small town on the Mukteshwar road is famous for is variety of fruits from the Himalayas. It has a great variety of fruit and also spectacular views of the Himalayas. Ramgarh has a big fruit-processing factory, which can be visited with special permits.<br />Another importance attached to this place is that the Nobel laureate and the great Indian poet, Guru Rabindranath Tagore wrote the world famous Geetanjali sitting in Ramgarh which earned him the Nobel Prize. Another famous poet, Mahadevi Verma is also associated with this place and has praised it often.
