Greater Noida, as it is known as, was specifically established with the motto of a place for development of Industries near Delhi. Situated on the banks of River Yamuna in the eastern parts of Delhi, Greater Noida has become a satellite town of the Capital and has been included in the National Capital Region of Delhi. Not much is to be seen in this area other than the upcoming film city, a subtle answer to the film cities of Mumbai and Hyderabad.
