    Hardly 250 kms from the capital of India, Delhi, is the magic of the Shekhavati region, the Mukundgarh fort. Mukundgarh Fort is essentially the reason to visit this rustic area in the Shekhavati region. The fort is the centre of attraction and activity of this otherwise sleepy little village. <br />Mukundgarh derives its name from its founder, Raja Mukund Singh, who built the fort in the 18th century. The fort is famous for its wonderful frescoes, which adorn the wall of this sturdy building reminding the glorious past it once witnessed. Today converted in to the most sought after heritage hotels, Mukundgarh Fort is the best place to stay in Luxurious comfort but also away from the hustle bustle of the city life.
